NEIGHBORS HELPING A FRIEND IN NEED AT THE MARYSVILLE COMMUNITY IN EARLY SUMMER OF 1941. After planting a cotton crop, Fulton Davis suffered a fatal heart attack on May 13, 1941, leaving his widow "Miss Roette" alone. Concerned neighbors who volunteered to chop out the cotton include: 1.
