The Mendenhall Hotel a few years later (The hotel is one block from the train depot)
This is a copy of the cards passed out at the train depot to arriving passangers (Its said that there were two Mendenhall brothers who passed out the cards. One was a thin man who walked around with a sign saying "I never eat at Mendenhall's", while the other brother was a large man who carried a sign saying "I always eat at Mendenall's. This was their way of advertising the quality of the food and rooms at the hotel).
