Scott Bellamy, Ph.D.

Edward P. Kardas, Ph.D.

A 1996 graduate of the University of Kentucky, Scott Bellamy is now associate professor of economics at West Virginia Wesleyan College. Previously, he was associate professor of economics and finance at Southern Arkansas University. His interest in using the Web and the Internet in teaching began with his desire to present timely economic data and statistics in class from on-line sources. More recently, he has required his students to use the Web for class assignments. He is married to the former Teresa Marshall, and they have two young boys, Matthew and Daniel.

A 1978 graduate of LSU, Edward P. Kardas is professor of psychology at Southern Arkansas University. He has long been interested in applying computer technology to college teaching. Since 1993, those efforts have revolved around the use of the Internet and the World Wide Web in the classroom. Previously, he was coauthor, with Tommy Milford, of Using the Internet for Social Science Research and Practice (1996) and author of Psychology Resources on the World Wide Web (1999). He is married to the former Julie McCuller, and they have three young children, Christian, Clay, and Cara.
