1. Why is Vygotsky's theory of development becoming more popular? What is dynamic testing? Give an example of how could use dynamic testing in this course on you.
2. Describe Freud's idea of the structure of the personality (i.e., the ego, id, and super-ego). How do the various parts relate to each other? Include the libido, thanatos, and the ego-ideal.
3. Using the analogy of "Freud with options," discuss the major additions Jung made to Freudian psychoanalytic theory. Provide examples.
4. Describe Chomsky's theory of language. How did it change our view of language?
5. What is the humanistic movement? Has it changed psychology? If so, how?
