The department is presently establishing the Professor William C. Nolan Public Affairs Internship. An endowment to support this progam currently solicits funds for the purpose of supporting one student each summer to participate in an unpaid internship in an agency in Washington, D.C.
William C. Nolan was a professor of political science and chair of the department from 1962 to 1987.
